POTATO-VEGETABLE SKEWERS

  • Wooden (meat) skewers

INGREDIENTS

  • sesame seed
  • olive oil (or rapeseed oil)
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 courgette
  • 1 red sweet pepper
  • 8 medium-sized potatoes

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Cut a courgette into 5 cm pieces and then into 1 cm strips.
  • Cut the red sweet pepper into 1 cm strips.
  • Boil the unpeeled potatoes until almost done and halve.
  • Use a grill pen to make skewers that have a half potato on each side and in between alternately pieces of courgette and sweet pepper.
  • Add rolled pieces of bacon as well.
  • Brush the skewers with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seed.
  • Roast the skewers for ten minutes in a grill pan or on the barbecue.
