Deep-frying is a basic cooking method in which the choice for a certain potato variety is a very decisive factor: the use of the wrong potato variety will greatly influence the end result. The fries will be limp and/or will brown too quickly. Not every potato variety is suitable for deep-frying. This is mostly due to the starch content of the potato. You can make delicious, crispy, golden brown fries!
