TAPAS POTATO OMELET (TORTILLA)

PREPARATION METHOD

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 firm texture potatoes (approx. 450 grams)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 6 eggs
  • ½ dl milk
  • 75 grams shredded matured cheese
  • salt and pepper

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Peel the potatoes, rinse them and cut them into 1 cm cubes.
  • Peel and chop the onions and garlic.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan with a non-stick coating and stir-fry the potato with the onion and garlic for 5 minutes.
  • Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes until the potatoes are cooked. Stir in the paprika powder.
  • Beat the eggs with the milk and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the rest of the oil and mix the eggs and the cheese through the potato mixture.
  • Place a lid on the pan and allow the omelette to cook over low heat for about 10 minutes until the bottom is light brown.
  • Slide the tortilla onto a plate and cut into squares.

TIP

  • Serve with a fresh green salad.
